The Union for Relief and Development Association – URDA has recently concluded “The Registration of Syrian Refugees” project which aimed at registering Syrian children in the Beqaa area. It ended with the successful registration of 20 Syrian children born in Lebanon in the official circles and were provided with the needed supporting documents.

The project was supported by Refugee Protection International – RPI and enlisted under URDA’s protection program which aims at becoming a legal reference when it comes to providing underprivileged individuals, mainly those who are vulnerable to violence, exploitation or abuse, with legal services.

Ultimately, the protection_program seeks to form a fully integrated team of legal experts able to cover the entire territory of Lebanon and provide legal services including consultation, representation, and awareness to vulnerable groups, in addition to protecting them from any infringements upon their rights.
