Under the current circumstances and in compliance with the prevention and safety measures recommended by the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, our Child Protection Team is providing remote psychosocial support sessions to beneficiaries through WhatsApp.

With the extension of school closures and home quarantine, parents are facing the task of maintaining the mental health of their children. Therefore, we have provided a home farming session for children with the participation and supervision of their caregivers, which included planting legumes (chickpeas , beans, lentils, etc…), using cotton and empty containers.

This activity aims to enhance the child’s ability to innovate and boost his/her visual memory. It also keeps children busy and increases their ability to take care of their own plants, which plays a major role in relieving stress and anxiety.

This activity works on developing the relationship between children and caregivers under the purpose of positive education and positive parenting and delivers an indirect message to caregivers and children , which calls for providing their children with attention and love as a means for growth and development and helps in enhancing their abilities.
