URDA For Her: A Gathering Bringing URDA’s Employees and Volunteers Together Around Mental Health and Women’s Well-being

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, known as Pink October, and in recognition of World Mental Health Day, the Union of Relief and Development Associations (URDA), in collaboration with Hiya Coffee Shop in Saida, organized a gathering bringing together URDA’s female employees and volunteers in a welcoming space for conversation, connection, and self-expression.

Under the theme URDA For Her, the gathering offered women an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and engage in meaningful conversations through a women-to-women dialogue and a creative coffee-cup decorating activity, fostering a sense of connection and belonging.

Recognizing that mental health is just as important as physical health, the initiative carried a message that extends beyond awareness campaigns. Women’s health is not limited to breast cancer awareness during October; it encompasses their physical and mental well-being throughout the year.

URDA For Her is a reminder that every woman deserves to be heard, supported, and cared for, in October and every day of the year.
