Under the title “Become the Warmth,” the Union of Relief and Development Associations (URDA) in Lebanon has launched its Winter Campaign 2024/2025.
The campaign seeks to provide vital winter necessities—food, shelter heating, blankets, jackets, and mattresses—to the most vulnerable in Lebanon, offering relief from the biting cold.
As Lebanon transitions into a new chapter after the war, the scars of hardship remain, and winter brings its own challenges. Families, including children and the elderly, face the harsh reality of the season without adequate resources, yearning for a source of warmth to protect them from the freezing temperatures.
This winter, “Become the Warmth” represents more than aid—it’s a call to action, a beacon of hope, and a chance to restore dignity. URDA urges everyone with a generous heart to join this mission and bring light and warmth to those who need it most.
