As part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts, URDA has successfully organized and executed 15 convoys to facilitate the voluntary return of Syrian refugees from the Inmaa
camp in Akkar to Syria.
This significant initiative ensured the safe and dignified return of 42 families—approximately 170 individuals—who have chosen to go back to their homeland.
The convoys were meticulously planned to provide secure transportation for individuals and families, along with their personal belongings, enabling them to restart their lives in Syria.
Addressing the Continuing Need for Support
While these returns represent a positive step forward for many, the reality remains that a significant number of Syrian refugees still reside in Lebanon. These families face ongoing challenges and require immediate support to meet their basic needs, including food, shelter, medical care, and education.
Our Commitment to Humanity
URDA remains steadfast in its mission to support vulnerable communities, both in Lebanon and Syria. Our efforts are driven by compassion, ensuring that no one is left behind during these challenging times. Whether it’s through facilitating safe returns, delivering essential aid, or implementing sustainable projects, our dedication to making a difference remains unwavering.
