In the midst of rising tensions and the humanitarian crises caused by the current war escalations, URDA launched a comprehensive aid distribution campaign targeting the most affected families in southern Lebanon. This initiative included the provision of essential food and hygiene supplies, aimed at alleviating the suffering of families impacted by the ongoing situation.
A total of 75 families in the Al-Marwanieh area benefited from food parcels and hygiene kits, helping to improve their basic living conditions. Additionally, in Al-Hebbariyeh, 400 hot meals with bread were distributed in an effort to ease the food insecurity faced by many families.
Recreational activities were also organized for children, with 250 children receiving gifts as part of an effort to bring joy and happiness to their hearts during these challenging times.
These relief efforts are part of URDA’s ongoing strategy to support the most vulnerable groups during multiple crises. The emergency relief teams are committed to meeting basic needs and strengthening the resilience of families as they face the harsh conditions affecting the country.
