The Union of Relief and Development Associations (URDA) has launched the “Tomorrow is Ours” campaign to support the most vulnerable students in Lebanon amid the ongoing economic and social crises. The campaign aims to provide resources and support to ensure all children receive a quality education.
As Lebanese families face significant challenges, including economic collapse leading to high inflation and extreme poverty, increased child labor, higher school dropout rates, and escalating mental health crises among children.
The campaign focuses on four main areas: student sponsorship, distribution of school bags and stationery, provision of textbooks, and equipping schools with essential supplies and equipment. Additional interventions include transportation support, teacher capacity building, school rehabilitation, support for academic programs, and providing psychological and social support to students.
In this context, URDA calls on local and international partners and donors to join this initiative to ensure that children in Lebanon have the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a better future.
