URDA’s CP Remote Sessions Continue During the COVID-19 Outbreak

URDA’s Child Protection program continues to provide CP services remotely and is only present in the field in case of high-risk cases.

The interaction of the children and their caregivers during the remote service has been proven successful, where the Whatsapp groups that gather this bulk of participants are witnessing great interaction with videos, voice notes, images of drawings, and handcrafts are being exchanged among the participants who are providing positive feedback.

The CP program tackles COVID-19 awareness, and mental health topics, as well as child protection, and GBV activities, which are being delivered remotely to be aligned with Lebanon’s prevention response to the COVID-19 outbreak and avoid overcrowded settings.
