Funded by the European Union, the Union of Relief and Development Associations (URDA), in collaboration with DanChurchAid (DCA) and Digital Opportunity Trust Lebanon (DOT Lebanon), organized its second workshop on Friday, 28 November 2025, aiming to strengthen the legal and professional protection of journalists and human rights defenders in Lebanon.
The session was delivered by renowned attorney Dr. Elie Al-Bitar and attended by journalists, legal experts and human rights advocates.
Through these EU-funded initiatives, URDA continues to build the capacity of individuals and institutions, promote a safer digital media environment, and uphold human rights and justice in Lebanon, ensuring that journalists and human rights defenders can operate with confidence, security and professional integrity.
