The echo machine has greatly improved the services at Dar Al Wafaa PHC and Al Rawda dispensary. This enabled URDA through the past 4 years to conduct 15600 ultrasound images in Dar Al Wafaa and 10320 ultrasound image in Al Rawda. This high-quality, specialized echo improved the antenatal care of pregnant women and patients with chronic diseases. This has enabled Dar Al Wafaa dispensary to become a primary healthcare center in the primary healthcare network in the Ministry of Public Health and later in the EU- Madad Project; it also enabled Al Rawda to implement health projects for supporting pregnant women and patients with chronic diseases funded by Qatar charity. Due to the harsh economic situation, the echo fees in the private centers have become extremely expensive. Therefore, patients resorted to these PHCs to conduct their echo with minimal costs.
