Over10,900 deprived families benefited from the Qurbani distributions on the 3rd day of Eid
In accordance with the health standards and under the supervision of specialized committees and district municipalities, URDA completed the distribution of qurbani meat to needy families of different nationalities. On the third day of Eid Al Adha, Qurbani portions of 137 calves and 171 sheep were distributed to 10,958 families. Distribution areas included Aarsal, Bekaa, Saida and North Lebanon.
In order to ensure the safety and health of the distributed meat, meat shares have been transported for distribution to beneficiaries in refrigerated vehicles, taking into account precautionary requirements and safety measures, especially in the light of the high temperatures that Lebanon is witnessing.
It is reported that up to the third day of the Eid, meat shares have been distributed to about 32,256 deprived families, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to about 160,000 individuals.
