Amid the current crisis in Gaza and tensions along the southern Lebanese border, URDA is preparing to address any emergencies and provide necessary support to Lebanese individuals who have fled from southern villages due to repeated border shelling. According to statistics, more than 3,500 Lebanese have been displaced to various schools in the town of Tyre, while an estimated 30,000 displaced individuals have sought shelter in the homes of relatives or other locations.
In this context, the emergency relief team at URDA conducted a field assessment visit today to the shelter centers in Tyre to evaluate the urgent needs of the Lebanese population. These needs include essential living supplies, and these efforts are being coordinated with local authorities and municipalities to achieve the best outcomes and provide the necessary support.
