URDA Organized a Capacity-Building Workshop on Community Development and Needs Assessment

The Union of Relief and Development Associations in Lebanon (URDA) organized a workshop on “Community Development and Needs Assessment” at its headquarters. This workshop marks the first in a series of specialized training sessions aimed at building the capacities and enhancing the skills of URDA’s staff.

Drawing on the organization’s direct experience working with vulnerable communities, the workshop focused on identifying community needs and designing precise, targeted projects to address them.

It was led by Mr. Nouhad Abdul Aal, who brings nearly 17 years of experience in the NGO sector. He shared practical tools and insights with participants, guiding them through best practices in needs analysis and effective project design to ensure lasting impact and sustainable development.

Stay tuned for the next session in this series, as we continue to explore and apply new knowledge and skills to advance our humanitarian mission and empower communities.
