URDA’s Grants during the First Days of Ramadan are Filled with Hope

URDA has started implementing its “The Month of Hope” Ramadan projects on Tuesday 13/4/2021. Food parcels and hot meals were provided for Lebanese, Syrians and Palestinians in need from Aakkar and Aarsal to Bekaa and Burj Al Barajneh. The number of beneficiaries was 1328 families during the very first days of Ramadan.
“Abu Akaram”, one of the recipients benefitting from the hot meals project, said that these annual gifts make him and his family hopeful of the future.
Mr. Fares Fares, the Relief and Shelter Sectors’ Director in URDA, highlighted the importance of the continuation of these projects to overcome nowadays challenges. He also ensured that URDA’s Relief Teams are commited to full Covid-19 prevention practices during these projects.
“The Month of Hope” Campaign is ongoing in different Lebanese regions to reach the largest number possible of people in need, in Lebanon.
