For a third month in a row, the legal protection program of the URDA’s protection sector continues to help Behnein camp victims to resolve their legal situation by replacing their lost legal and identification documents (like ID cards, passports, marriage contracts and birth certificates).
This legal assistance includes birth registrations, completion of marriage contracts and other legal transactions that refugees face difficulties in when trying to resolve.
These identification documents provide no less important human needs, like granting recognition of one’s rights, entity and proof of one’s identity as a protected human being.
