URDA and Common Effort Organization Collaborate to Support COVID-19 Patients

As part of its humanitarian work aimed at helping the underserved and building relationships with local partners, URDA provided 300 Kg of food, including legumes, rice, oil, ghee, canned goods and other items to the Common Effort Organization last week, for use in its central kitchen in Beirut and Mount Lebanon to prepare meals for COVID-19 patients in its isolation centers.

URDA’s Public Relations Department explained that this cooperation is the first of its kind between the two organizations, in the hope that such humanitarian activities will be repeated to contribute to the support of the underserved and the sick.

It is worth mentioning that the Common Effort Organization is a local civil non-profit organization that is interested in planning and implementing humanitarian, relief and awareness programs for children and women as well as social and community issues.
