URDA Continues to Stand by You… Remotely

The last few days have not been easy for the URDA team, as all our teams have been trying to fulfill their humanitarian duties before the general closure due to COVID-19, and before the expected winter storm.

Executives and administrators from different sectors, we were all prepared as a beehive working day and night to speed up the process of providing the most underserved people, in different Lebanese regions and of different nationalities, with their basic supplies that can help them survive this difficult period. Our distributions included food, clothing, heating materials, orphan sponsorships, and others. In Syrian refugee camps, relief teams rehabilitated tents with tarpaulins and paved camps grounds with gravel.

We continue to work remotely to follow up on all the work that can be done to help people until we can move back to the field where we can be most efficient. We hope for safety and well-being for all, and we emphasize the need to abide by the preventive measures and the instructions for the general closing period. We also thank all our funding partners and donors who are showing their increasing trust in us day by day to continue to help those who need us the most.
